The Debug Oracle

There was a bug.

A bug that changed its shape with each run.

Each stack trace more cryptic than the last.

So the developer climbed.

Up the slopes of Mount Overflow.

Towards the Debug Oracle.

He arrived and the gates opened.

"State your problem", the Oracle boomed.

"I keep getting this stack trace."

The oracle stared into the stack trace.

"Ah", it said.

"You forgot to clear your cache".

The bug was fixed.

The world returned its normal state.

But the developer was never the same again.
